Thing 25

So I made it snow...that is so cool...I saw a page once that had sparkles that followed the mouse pointer.



The Usability tips are cool. I am trying to make them work! I spent too much time trying to put a list of the people that look at my blog...and didn't get it to work. I think I had too many distractions. Oh well, it is cool to see what I can add to my blog...I will continue to try and add things.

I tried to add the map with the counter...maybe later I will get it to work.

Thing 24

So I know it is too late to register...I was watching for the Jan 2009 reboot, but well....January was very hectic in my Library! Staff cuts, hour changes, and so...it didn't get done.

I just refreshed my blog...picking some of my favorite colors, and now I am set...no prize in sight except the possibility of learning some fun new things...hopefully 2010 will allow for some more time...we got some hours back, and are hiring again!

I have been having fun this past week with Big Huge Labs. We are doing a promo with staff pictures as works of art. These are a few of the fun pictures I have done with the Web.

So I decided that since I had stopped blogging, I wasn't keeping track of what I was doing...I have been learning more things from the 23 things, and doing other interesting Online stuff, but I don't remember what I do.

So Today I am going to do thing one again...I am going to update my avatar too...

More to things

I have been learning something with the 23 things each week now...I just forget to blog. last week I played around with the notes in Flickr. I really liked what the library did with the pictures of the bookcase and then you can check if it is available. I am playing around to see if there is something like that with a calendar. I looked at the google calendar, but I don't see where a link to that calendar could be created on a non google page. The calendar would be neat though. If you could put pictures and links directly on it. Oh well. I will keep searching.

Continuing

I am excited for the new things...I have kept my goal of continuing the learning process, but I realized that I had stopped blogging. I will start that up again!

Thing 23

I am done!! I finished. I completed the survey, and contacted my multitype.

This was so fun. I really enjoyed trying new things and finding things on the web that I didn't know existed. I also liked learning how to make these myself and am looking forward to trying out some of my ideas at work and in my personal life.

Thank you to those that created this project and who did all the work collecting the information and the ideas! This has been a great learning experience.
